This combination and happening was quite unusual for all rock fans, but successful in its way. Michael Rakintzis, who is a known pop singer in Greece invited Deep Purple's front man Ian Gillan  and had him as a guest appearance on his album in 1992. Michael also hired the musicians from Rock band Bad Habit for the recordings and the tour in 1993.
The album was released in Greece and a single in Europe on which Ian sang 3 songs, one of them was the single "Getaway", which was performed as a duet with Mike and received Gold in Greece. The rest of the album is sung in Greek and unfortunately carries a very bad production.
Michael went on tour the following year and Ian joined in for three concerts, on which he performed classic Deep Purple tunes like Smoke on the water, Black night, Woman from Tokyo and When a blind man cries.
