Magna Carta Studio was built in Athens, Halandri 1995 and was shut down in 2000 by Mark Cross and Pete Lallis. Known for good sound quality and reliable staff, the studio was busy in the music industry in Greece for nearly 6 years.

In 1998 they expanded their business in the jingle industry, but unfortunately had to close the company in 2000 after a financial breakdown.

The studio facility ran  Analog/Digital machinery on Pro Tools, Logic Audio and Adats. Yamaha O2R and two Pro Mix O1's consoles &, Power Macs. The Studio provided a set of Shures, EV's and Neumann microphones, pre amps, tube compressions, a set of double bass acoustic drums, and Marshall and Trace Elliot guitar and bass amplifiers.

The studio covered a plain of 100sqm and was separated into 4 booths, a control room 36sqm, a drum booth 16sqm, a vocal booth  11sqm and the entrance with a bar and an office.
All areas were carpeted, except for the drum booth, it's floor was covered with Koto plates and the entrances with wood. The drum booths' walls were well isolated and decorated with wood and mirrors and used  thick curtains to decrease the ambient sound.
In the vocal booth you can see a stone wall and its upper section coated with cloth. The ceiling exterior had wood and hanging sound traps. We used this booth for acoustic instruments, guitars and vocals.
The control rooms columns were coated from the inside with led and covered from the outside with stones and insured  perfect sound proof.  The uneven ceiling and wall constructions reached nearly 95% of standard acoustic frequencies and insured  outstanding mixing and recording results.

For business opportunities the office provided internet access on ISDN and the bar, a small catering service for coffee breaks and lunch.
