Scraptown was a very successful
Reggae/Pop/Rock combo in the early 80's in Greece. They'd play every
Pub and had
released three albums, of which "Give me a break" was the most
successful one.
Songs like "Viva Sahara" became number one in Greece
and gained huge radio play in Italy and France,
as well as in other southern European countries.
Mark joined the band in 1985 and attended his first promo tour and played
several shows with them in France during the summer of 1985 before the band
split up due to bad agreements with their label and management!
Nevertheless it had been an educating and fun period in Cannes at the Cote
d'Azur partying amongst beautiful ladies and expensive cars. it's only rock'n
roll, what a fantastic time!
