has been quite a success for us.
We're all very happy and wish to thank all our fans and new friends we've

FIREWIND recently completed a massive European tour as direct support to Dragonforce, which marked the kickoff of the world tour in support of Allegiance. They will rejoin Dragonforce and All That Remains later this month for an extensive UK run.
Allegiance peaked at #10 on the Greek album charts and spent six weeks in the Top 20, a further testament of the group’s growing presence throughout Europe. The album is set for a January 23rd release in the U.S. through Century Media Records.

Thank you Japan and Taiwan!!!
After 3 very successful shows in Taiwan and Japan, FIREWIND reports:
Our journey started out in Taiwan where we played the Indie 2006 Wild Scream
festival in a small town called Huaien.
It was the first time we played in Taiwan and and truely lived some
unforgettable moments! A huge thank you for your hospitaility. Our greatest
thanks to our fans and the people behind the scenes, Sherry, Nuno Chen and
Dennis Ho. You guys are the greatest, thank you for everything!
Our next stop was Japan and landed in Tokyo on October 10th while Gus continued
his trip to Osaka where he did a guitar clinic for Musician's Institute (MI)
the following day. We stayed in Tokyo and explored the city before
the jet lag struck us.

following day Gus arrived and we rehearsed for the special event show @ ESP Musical Academy. Oct 12th was
the busy day, promo and a shoot for a special DVD for Young Guitar magazine (should be included on one of their issues in the next couple of months), did lots of press and before we realized it, it was
showtime for our closest friends at the ESP academy.
Time
schedule?? Oh yes, after 7 hours driving from left to right through Tokyo we
were only 10 minutes behind schedule before we hit the stage! Is it just a
matter of being perfect... :)
The Japanese obviously are!
The whole tour came to a climax with our show @ the sold-out Loud Park festival. It was simply one of our best moments in our so-far career. We hit the stage at 17:00 and performed in front of something like 4.000 screaming Metalheads. Pure Arena Rock!!!

FIREWIND to play Taiwan!!
One more date has been added to Firewind's world tour and it will be in Hualien, Taiwan! This will be the first time the band will visit the country and they will perform at Indie 2006 Wild Scream festival on October 8th at the Main Stage. Gus G. will also perform a special guitar clinic the same day at the festival on stage C. Check it out

Excellent news come in from the FIREWIND camp! After the “Falling To Pieces” CD Single (only released in Greece) has made it up to position #11 in the official Greek Single Charts and at the moment is still among the top 30 five weeks after its release, also the album “Allegiance” has succeeded in hitting the album charts in the band’s home country. In its first week “Allegiance” has entered at position #11 as well (seems to be the new lucky number for FIREWIND) and marks a new peak in the band’s history so far.
Furthermore the European tour with Dragonforce has been confirmed and will allow FIREWIND to present their versatile musicianship, inimitable rousing, with infectious hooks garnered new material to old and new fans onstage.

FIREWIND - "Falling To Pieces" entered official Greek single charts
Greek metal act FIREWIND entered the official single charts in their
home country on position 35 in the first week. "Falling To Pieces" even
climbed on position 11 (!) in its second week. Apart from these great
results FIREWIND gracing the cover of the current issues of Rock Hard
(GR) and Metal Hammer (GR).
FIREWIND also got confirmed for a signing session at Rockwave Festival,
Greece on July 10th (official release date for "Allegiance" in Greece)
at 19:00 h. It takes place in the Rock Hard tent.
Watch out for the new album "Allegiance" to be released July 24th 2006
via Century Media Records in the rest of Europe.

Sorry that there weren´t
any updates about my latest activities for a while, but thanks to the spam and never
ending Virus' on the Net my Notebook crashed and made it simply impossible
to access my server.
That made me buy a G4 Power Book and I'm more than happy to be able to work
with MAC and WITHOUT Virus' !!!!!

It´s been already a week since I arrived in Sweden and I've been very busy with
the drums the past 6 days.
Yesterday I had a night out in Gothenborg to celebrate the conclusion of my
drum recordings. I believe it's one of the finest I've ever done.
Mario, the guitar player from Nightrage showed me around Bars and soon ended
up at Mickkey Dee's Diamond Dogs Club. I hadn't seen Mikkey since the
Helloween sessions in Tenerife in 2002, so we had a few beers and made some
noise. See you again soon....
Anybody ever met the Swedish Glam Rock band Pinklips?? These guys rock, I
met those chaps the same night who made sure that we closed every Club on
the spot!! 8am I believe, but where did I wake up, uhuuuuu??

Hello all,
We’re in cold, snowy Sweden for a week now and recordings have been going
great so far. The JM Studio we’re recording at is very comfortable with
top-notch equipment and its owner, Martin Kronlund is an amazing guy and has
been taking care of us really well.
Drums are already done; Mr. Cross managed to break 4 cymbals the first 3
days of the recordings! Paiste won't be pleased, it's not the first time....
He sure did beat the hell out of those drums and this album will be another
proof on why he is a world elite drummer.
Outside it’s snowing, it must be -10 Celsius degrees, but I’m inside already
laying down the rhythm guitar parts. Massive tone provided by Mr. Nordstrom…and
my hands, of course! ;-)
Next week Bob and Petros are arriving from Greece to record their parts.
We’ll be uploading some photos from the studio soon.
